Adamello – Alta via n°1

9-night itinerary, 85 km along the Adamello mountain range.

Every day a new pass to be crossed, to then descend vertically into the next valley where we would have camped. The constant rain that kept us company tapping on the canvas of the tent at night and on the poncho during the day. The snowfields and the fog that hid the path and sometimes even the goal, even if only a few meters away. The numerous animals we met and with whom we spent whole afternoons.

It was a demanding journey from both a physical and a mental point of view, but it gave us so many emotions. The subject of most of the photos is my friend Fabrizio, a great musician who did not hesitate to accompany me on this adventure.

With this sequence of photos I hope to be able to convey some of the emotions that Fabrizio and I felt on top of those mountains.
